1. Why can't I see the BW Tree iView?
Starting with NetWeaver Portal SP9 the security concept has changed significantly. All content has to be made available explicitly to end-users.
Please note that you have to maintain both the "Portal Content" and the "Security Zones". In order to do so, add the "Everyone" user group and assign it read rights.
You may find detailed information in our documentation in the download area in section "Installation Guide > Assigning Portal Permissions" .


2. Why can't I see any reports?
Access Rights: You maybe lacking necessary access rights for the underlying
BW system. Please contact your BW system administrator.
Depending on your landscape the user needs RFC authorization for function group SYST and SDIFRUNTIME.
All Reports Blacklisted: Administrators can blacklist certain report (ranges). Therefore,
you technically may have access to the system and have the necessary rights, but, still, the reports may not show.
Please contact the administrator of the SAP NetWeaver Portal and/or BW system who may have maintained such a blacklist.
First Time Use / All BW System Aliases Deleted: In order to display BW reports the application needs subsequent systems
to be properly maintained in the portal. Please refer to the documentation.


3. How can I change the appearance styles?
The application itself adopts the current portal theme.
It mainly uses the table styles. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require customization.
