1. Why can't I see the iView?
Starting with NetWeaver Portal SP9 the security concept has changed significantly. All content has to be made available explicitly to end-users.
Please note that you have to maintain both the "Portal Content" and the "Security Zones". In order to do so, add the "Everyone" user group and assign it read rights.

2. Still no iView?
Since we are leveraging Adobe Flex technology you will need Adobe Flash Player 9 and above to be installed.
Please visit Adobe and install the latest Flash player


3. How can I verify my Flash Player version?
Please visit Version test for Adobe Flash Player.


4. I have an empty Flash, what to do?
Do you see an empty Flash? A right click allows you to select Play from the context menu?.
Please ask your administrator to verify two settings for the portal server.
Please open: Visual Admin - Cluster - Server - Services - HTTP Provider - Properties.
- The setting NeverCompressed must contain *.swf (default)
- The setting AlwaysCompressed must not contain *.swf (default)
Our SWF files are compressed already. SWF (Flash) files need
to be on the never compressed list, otherwise the server compression may cause an error in the SWF files
that are loaded by the flash plugin in the browser.
