If you wish to remove a Sweetlets business package from your SAP Portal (eg. after testing), please remove all related PCD objects – then remove the relevant PAR file using the Portal Administration.
Once installed, a Sweetlets app can be uninstall without harming your system. Please keep in mind it is always good to take a backup before changing anything and we do recommend it.
To remove Sweetlets business packages, simply:
A. Remove your custom instances of the Sweetlets iViews. If you created delta links, locate them here:
**NOTE: Skip step A if you only used the Sweetlets Showcase!
- Log in into the portal as administrator
- Go to Content Administration > Portal Content
- Open the folder Portal Content > Content Provided by Other Vendors > End User Content > Sweetlets: [application name] > iViews
- Right click on each iView and select Open > Delta Link Tracer
- Select Show Delta Link Dependents
B. Remove PCD objects:
- Log in into the portal as administrator
- Go to Content Administration > Portal Content
- Open the folder Portal Content > Content Provided by Other Vendors > End User Content
- Delete the folder Sweetlets: [application name]
C. Remove relevant PAR
- Log in into the portal as administrator
- Go to System Administration > Support
- Select Portal Runtime > Administration Console
- In the section Archive Remover select com.sweetlets.pct.[application name] and click on clean
- If no other Sweetlets application is installed and there is an entry com.sweetlets.pct.serviceutil, clean that as well
