System Messenger version 1.3.05 (and later) is fully compatible with NetWeaver Portal 7.30 (NW 7.30). If you are doing an upgrade of the complete portal from 7.0 to 7.30 and already have System Messenger installed, no further changes to System Messenger are required.
However, if System Messenger is being installed for the first time on 7.30 (with no previous installations), please note the following differences:
- NetWeaver 7.30 is based on SAP Java and you need a specific license for this platform. To get a proper license, please contact support@sweetlets.com
- After importing the System Messenger EPA, the contained portal application files need to be migrated and uploaded separately:
- com.sweetlets.pct.serviceutil.par
- com.sweetlets.pct.systemmessenger.par
